Amy`s Patio Cafe in Altadena

It would be awesome if this place was open when advertised. Twice I have taken business colleagues here for coffee at 8 AM and the doors were closed and locked. Ended up at Cafe de Leche down the street. Otherwise, it's great for weekend breakfast.

Had a wonderful dinner at my go-to breakfast spot when I have to work and get my pops somewhere to eat and get him home. I had salmon and rice with a maple glaze that was exquisite! A nice salad of greens with a great vinaigrette and fresh ground pepper and a side of Julienne zucchini and carrots. Had a glass of Merlot to accompany my excellent meal. I will definitely return for dinner again! The breakfast is great as well!!

The food is good and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

Small local place that's great to visit. Unfortunately my order was forgotten but waitress came around apologised and shortly my food arrived. The potato is a must to try and I had a build your burger without the bun and was delicious.There is a mini parking lot by the building but can park on the road and a few seats and tables outside. It is pretty cozy little place approx 20 seats inside.

The places we find when we're driving around.... we stopped in altadena . I think we got carried when we ordered our food. I had a breakfast sandwich and my wife had the cobb salad and we shared a belgin waffle with all the fixings..... this place was really damn good. Oh, yeah parking is tight... you've been warned. Asked if I could be seated with my dog. Wouldn't allow it. Ate in the parking lot. Not dog friendly.

We had bisonburger, beef burger (sundried-tomato aoli!) and those KILLER potatoes! She also does fillet, salmon, full-on dinner yummies. Now with her wine+beer license, OPEN for DINNER again! Music later in the year (more hoops with LA County...)

The food is good. The atmosphere is great. And I really like to sit there and sip tea, eat my breakfast, and listen to my dad.

Decent breakfast food, slightly overpriced. But the service is horrible. Expect long waits on the weekend.

Great neighborhood cafe and not crowded!

Great place, the food is excellent, the workers fantastic and the love the owner has put into this place is over the top..it feels welcoming (they even have a place for people with their dogs!).

There is no patio at this patio cafe. So I don't see the dog friendly part.

This cafe is a seriously well hidden treasure. The omlettes are fluffier than I ever seen and the ingredients are the highest quality. Amy herseof is lovely, personable and always out to provide her visitors with the best dining experience. I love this place!!!

Decent food, overpriced, very slow service

Sesame crusted ahi tuna salad with scallion, cashew--excellent! NYC style. Great feel, service was knowledgeable & friendly. Wish I tried the red velvet cake, but was full from entree , nice portion, tuna perfect& rare. Thank you for a great meal, new fav spot!💕

Excellent food.. I asked if they can set up a table outside because I have a dog and they did a nice set up.

Cute cafe in low key neighborhood. Service good but food just ok. Not bad, but not great. If I was in area would go again, but not go out of way to eat there.

This is a great place to bring your family, friends large groups or even just the two of you. I cannot begin to tell you how delicious the food was. The staff was extremely helpful and very nice. Their breakfast is probably the best in town. You cannot go wrong with the service the food or the prices. I was extremely satisfied with the food and I definitely felt it is a great value. Do not pass up this place you will not forgive yourself. They are very well known for their potatoes yummy

The food is good and made from high end ingredients. However the flavors are somewhat unusual and might not be for everyone. It is a small restaurant with maybe eight tables. There are only four parking spaces in front of the store and those are shared by six other businesses. You will be competing with street parking with several businesses located around it including the Mexican restaurant across the street. Be prepared to walk, but it is worth a visit.

Excellent. Amazing service. Cute place. Delicious food. Loved the zucchini bread. Enjoyed a smoked salmon omelette with fresh tomatoes on the side. Wow. So good. Can't wait to come back to try something else.

Great place and service...and about food excellent

Just a sad neighborhood cafe. Entrance was dirty, almost dead looking plants and menu items were expensive for what you get. The only thing good was their zucchini bread. There are other better places to eat in Pasadena.

It's just good people and great food!

Weird vibe, place was empty, but felt super hurried along by waitstaff. Complimentary zucchini bread was delicious, but eggs and potatoes were only OK.

Great breakfast spot. Loved the ambience and the food was quite good. The service was friendly, if a bit slow. They did have a full house however, so it was understandable. The portions are very generous and I'm looking forward to having my leftovers soon. I'll definitely be returning.

Love, love this place!! The bestest deep fried French toast!! The zucchini bread is to die for.. The potatos are jamming. I haven't yet had any burgers but from the looks of it they look really good! Michelle is the best hostess of the mostest, service with a smile is what she gives you. I do recommend this place to chill and relax on any day of the weeks/weekend....

Excellent food with fresh ingredients. Heathy and not so healthy options available. Wonderful service and cool casual atmosphere. Great coffee as well.

food deserves 4 stars, but the over-pricing subtracts one, in my book. I had a gruyere-and-asparagus omelet, and my SO had their oatmeal, and our bill including tip was around $30. I didn't even get my coffee refilled! that's too pricey, in my opinion. food was all tasty and served with an eye for aesthetics.
